And So I Watch You From Afar

Ryan Plice recommended, Caleb approved. Instrumental jam-gasm. My “do work” album.

The Avett Brothers I and Love and you

The Avett Brothers. One of those albums that doesn’t do much, but what it does it does very well.

M83 Saturdays=Youth

No, this album did not just come out, but I’ve really been enjoying it lately. Sadly, I can’t name anybody in my immediate circle what likes this album as much as I, especially my wife. Great dreampop. Definitely one of those albums I’m surprised I *still* like.

Ps. “Skin of the Night” would get my vote for sexiest song ever.

David Bazan Curse Your Branches

This is probably my favorite album of 2009. It really hits on all cylinders. Lyrically brilliant, musically balanced and even ironically playful given the subject matter. This album is relevant for anyone who has faith, since this is basically Bazan’s exit interview from Christianity.
